How Is This Course Organized?

This course is very much an introduction to training your dog to pay attention to you AND an introduction to human mindfulness. Because you have so much going on, we didn’t want to add any additional stress to your life by requiring you to complete Attention Unlocked in a set amount of time. Good news: you can go at your own pace and you will retain access to the content for the foreseeable future!

The content is divided into five different sections. There are mostly dog training videos in each section and one mindfulness video per section, spread throughout the course. Take as much time as you need on each video with your dog and yourself. There’s no pressure! The main goal here is to have fun, learn, and connect with your dog and yourself.

Why Is Everything That's Dog Training Related Filmed Outside?
We filmed this course before we were all fully vaccinated. As a result, to stay safe as a small film crew, we shot the indoor portions of this course in a lower distraction setting outside. When you train your dog, use your best judgement about what location works best for you both.

Community

Community is a big part our vision for Tails of Connection. We are constantly learning from friends like you and are reminded that we are not alone in our journey.

Our primary community is on Instagram where you can absolutely tag @tailsofconnection in training and mindfulness posts related to this course and we will do our best to comment and celebrate your successes (big and small) because they THRILL us!

While we won't be commenting on Facebook as frequently as we do on Instagram, we will do our best to respond there when you post. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram (@tailsofconnection) so we can celebrate your successes there, and so you can keep up with the latest TOC news and training advice in and outside of Attention Unlocked. We would be so thrilled if you tag us in posts and stories of you training or having fun with your dog. We will share as many as we can because we love spreading that joy.
